Doug Wilson FHFMA, MBA
Mr. Wilson has extensive experience in strategy, financial management, operational process design and implementation, payer negotiation and contract management and reporting, as well as the implementation of physician networks. He has provided strategic leadership throughout his 30-year career in implementing network development activities requiring effective communication and partnering between Health Systems, independent and employed physicians and ancillary services providers.
He has successfully implemented clinical integration from the initial strategic discussions through implementation and management of risk-based contracts including deployment of information solutions, development of quality metrics and evidenced based clinical guidelines, policy and procedure implementation and coordination of the provider downstream revenue sharing agreements.
He served in interim executive roles at both pediatric and adult clinically integrated networks, led value-based strategic planning and CIN build engagements and development of a state-wide clinically integrated network while at Evolent Health, formerly Valence Health (a Best in KLAS consulting firm). Mr. Wilson served as the CEO of University Health Link CIN in Augusta, Georgia, the market’s leading quality and value-based network. In addition, Mr. Wilson has served in governance roles in provider-sponsored health plans.
Mr. Wilson is a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association and received his MBA from the University of Iowa.
